South Lantau Bus Fare Subsidy Scheme
Terms and Conditions (ver. March 2017)
1. With effect from 1 March 2017, passengers who ride on New Lantao Bus Route 1, 2, 3M, 4, 11, 21, 23, A35, N1 & N35 can join this fare subsidy scheme.
2. One ride will be registered when passenger rides on any one of the routes above (for any directions) and pays full fare with Octopus Card.
3. Passenger who has taken 30 rides on the same route within same month (calendar month) is eligible to redeem 1 complimentary single journey ticket of the same route; or who has taken 40 rides on the same route within same month (calendar month) is eligible to redeem 2 complimentary single journey tickets.
For example: Passenger can redeem 1 complimentary single journey ticket of Route 1 when he/she has taken 30 rides on Route 1 within a month).
Each Octopus Card is subject to a maximum redemption of 2 tickets per calendar month.
4. Only the rides paid by same Octopus Card within same month will be counted.
5. The journey record can retrieve from, include but not limited to, self-serve ticket redemption machine at Tung Chung Town Centre Temporary Bus Terminus or Mui Wo Ferry Bus Terminus, at least 7 days after the last ride.
6. To redeem the complimentary single journey ticket, passenger can bring the Octopus Card at our self-service ticket redemption machine at Tung Chung Town Centre Temporary Bus Terminus or Mui Wo Ferry Bus Terminus between the 7th day and the last day of next month
7. The complimentary ticket can be used for one single journey on the stipulated route (for any direction or step-down fare section) within the month of redemption and the following 2 calendar months.
8. The journey record will be written off after redemption.
9. Passengers should take note of the valid date and route printed on the ticket when using the ticket. The ticket should be presented to bus captain and be put in coin vault when boarding to enjoy a free ride.
10. The ticket can be used by one passenger only and cannot be shared with other passengers.
