South Lantau Life supports all conservation efforts that preserve vital habitats for our remaining local buffalo herds working hard to protect the lungs of Hong Kong by maintaining the delicate balance and biodiversity of our critical wetland habitats that are unique to China. Our famously gentle giants and favorite neighbors are disappearing at an accelerated pace with rapid informal development by the concrete farmers at the expense of our local farmers growing our food.
