New Lantao Bus will accept QR code electronic fare payment starting 15 February 2022 on all NLB routes (except special routes).

NOTE: QR code electronic fare payment is not applicable to the Government Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities (the $2 Scheme) and the Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme.

Note: QR code electronic fare payment currently does not cover the following NLB bus routes: 1S, 2S, 11S, 13S, 21S and 23S.
AliPay
With effect from first departure on 15 February 2022, all NLB routes (except special routes) will accept AlipayHK QR code electronic fare payment.
Download and open AlipayHK app on your personal mobile device.
Make sure your AlipayHK account has sufficient balance for fare payment, and then select “EasyGo” on the homepage of the AlipayHK app.
Scan “EasyGo” QR code by on-bus fare collector when boarding.
Successful payment will display “Welcome on board” message at on-bus fare collector.
WeChat Pay
With effect from first departure on 25 March 2024, all NLB routes (except special routes)will accept WeChat Pay QR code electronic fare payment.
Download and open WeChat app on your personal mobile device.
Make sure your Wechat account has sufficient balance for fare payment, and then select “Dachema” on the homepage of the Wechat app.
Scan “Tencent Transit QR code” by on-bus fare collector when boarding.
Successful payment will display “Welcome on board” message at on-bus fare collector.
UnionPay
With effect from first departure on 1 November 2024, all NLB routes (except special routes) will accept UnionPay QR code electronic fare payment.
Download and open UnionPay app on your personal mobile device.
Make sure your UnionPay account has sufficient balance for fare payment, and then select “Transit QR code” on the homepage of the UnionPay app.
Scan “Transit QR code” by on-bus fare collector when boarding.
Successful payment will display “Welcome on board” message at on-bus fare collector..
BoC Pay
With effect from first departure on 1 December 2024, all NLB routes (except special routes) will accept BOC Pay QR code electronic fare payment.
Download and open BOC Pay app on your personal mobile device.
Make sure your BOC Pay account has sufficient balance for fare payment, and then select “Transit QR code” on the homepage of the BOC Pay app.
Scan “Transit QR code” by on-bus fare collector when boarding.
Successful payment will display “Welcome on board” message at on-bus fare collector.
